By a happy coincidence, I had the opportunity to see the private collection, today in Germany,
that according to its owner (V. Dettmar-Scherler), contains the objects obtained in the vicinity
of Sremska Mitrovica, Nis, Pozarevac and Paracin or Zajecar. ... We have treated the material from the Collection in the form of catalogue raisonee. For each object are given the facts on the material, dimensions and, where it was possible, on the time when it was made. Together with the detailed description we presented also the analogous material, on basis of which it was possible to make the chronological determination. As the precise place of finding of the certain specimens is not known, we made effort to locate, if possible, through the typologocal analysis and consideration of a general historical context, either the center where the object was made, or the site on which it could have been found. ...
