Dieser zweisprachige (serbisch/englische) Atlas wurde anlässlich des
110. Jahrestages der Speleologie in Serbien herausgegeben. In ihm werden
alle 81 bislang bekannten Höhlen in Serbien vorgestellt. Die
Darstellung der einzelnen Höhlen umfaßt Zeichnungen des Grundrisses
und des Profils und eine Beschreibung des dort anzutreffenden tierischen und
pflanzlichen Lebens sowie archäologischer Funde, soweit vorhanden.Im Allgemeinen Teil werden generelle geologische Aspekte der Höhlen in Serbien (Hydrogeologie, Morphologie, Tektonik), Höhlen-Flora und -Fauna, und die Bedeutung für die prähistorischen Menschen erörtert. |
